The elf-36 is a place to switch off, to arrive and to breathe. A retreat on the North Sea coast where peace, open spaces and the essentials take center stage.
Enjoy your time in one of our eleven modernized apartments or, from 2027, in one of our 36 new tiny houses. Surrounded by nature, accompanied by the gentle sound of the sea and the fresh coastal air, you'll find space for relaxation, clear thinking, and renewed energy.
You can reach the sea in just a few minutes – as well as the charming small town of Esens, which invites you to explore its small streets, cafes and shops.
Our stance is simple: We believe that less is more. That smaller spaces create more freedom. And that true relaxation arises where tranquility is palpable.
In 2025, we decided to create this very space. With great care and a clear eye for design and atmosphere, the existing apartments were completely renovated and modernized – creating a warm and timeless atmosphere.
At the same time, a new chapter is unfolding in the immediate vicinity: a tiny house resort with 36 modern homes, nestled into the landscape and designed for retreat, flexibility, and living at one's own pace. The opening is planned for summer 2027.
Thus, a place grows that connects – architecture and nature, simplicity and comfort, retreat and freedom. A place where you not only arrive, but stay.
